What Customers Say About Pearlessence Spa Mist Air Therapy Fountain Mister:

The moisture it adds to the air is an added bonus, but not what it's built for. I used this product for about 6 months. It thought mine was as isolated incident, but after reading the other reviews, it seems to be a pattern. However, after about 6 months it just stopped working. It's worked well as a diffuser. Don't expect it to be a vaporizer, because it's not.

I've followed all the instructions for maintenance and cleaning but have had 2 units stop working in the last 6 months. It's my favorite way to diffuse essential oils. I can't recommend this item because it doesn't work past the first month or so, from my experience. I love this item. It's small and fits on a desktop.

It was very disappointing when the unit stopped powering on after two weeks. (Amazon is very good about allowing items like this to be returned). It worked really well for the first two weeks, then quit powering on. I have returned it and am looking for a more durable model. :) I was using it every day. I followed the instructions for cleaning and filling.

Highly recommended. It's easy to operate and you don't have to worryabout glass parts that can be broken. The Spa Mist Air Therapy Fountain Mister is a healthy alternativeto aroma therapy. This is a less costly way to diffuse yourprecious oils.

I've no doubt that much can be done with these different oils, that specific results can be achieved, but I am new to them and have yet to learn about the possibilities. $20 or at most $25 might be a better balance, because it surely can't cost much to produce it. It turns on and off intermittently, and this wasn't conveyed in any of the reviews. Probably if it was completely dry inside, it wouldn't turn on, but about a teaspoon of water remains in the bottom and this moisture seems to trigger the machine, just speculation on my end. I applaud the simplicity, this is not a criticism, it is rather that it seems like $20 could still provide a fair profit to sellers while giving consumers a better purchase price. The colors are awesome, I almost always use the unit with the colors going. Today, right now as I write this, both Spearmint and Eucalyptus oils are in the mister producing a very nice scent, and I plan to do quite a bit of experimental mixing of the oils. It is sitting in a big room, so I use about 10 drops of different Essential Oils (don't know much of anything about oils, but I ordered them to use with the unit).

The shipping was really fast, and I have used the little mister almost the whole time I've been home since receiving it almost two (2) weeks ago. The mister was purchased to add an additional form of sensory dimension to the house. Even a small amount of Sweet Orange smells kind of strong and annoying to me; however, now I will try mixing it with Grapefruit and other of the oils to see if something likeable can be produced, ten (10) drops of Grapefruit and two (2) drops of Sweet Orange, say. The mister is playing an important part in holistic scheme. This is the only thing about the mister that worries me. I read a lot of reviews, and this never came up as an issue.About the oils, some of them don't smell so great, or they are too strong even when less than six (6) drops are used. While the red fill line was still present, I measured the amount needed to reach it as 2/3's cup. I always use 2/3's cup of tap water, and it lasts about, five (5) hours it seems.

Having said that, $30 does seem a bit high. I use different Brookstone Tranquil Moments Sound Therapy machines in different rooms to vary moods in different rooms, so that walking through the house is exciting. The gentle noise produced by the mister doesn't bother me at all, since I play sounds throughout the house as a form of experiential dimension. My grandkids love the different sounds and smells, as do I. What I found is that some were mixes of the Essential Oils I had already purchased.

I will buy more of these, for other rooms in my house, and to use as gifts. However, if the value is what people are willing to pay, then it is worth $30 to me since I was and still am willing to pay it. I have read reviews on more serious misters that have larger water capacities and higher prices, but this little mister is so pretty, easy to use, and fun, that I feel completely satisfied with the purchase, even though it is a little oversensitive in its moisture detection as described earlier. The water lasts a long time. In the kitchen is usually a thunderstorm with loons or other birds in the background, I often play rain as a livingroom background, and ocean waves are usually playing in my bedroom.

One, for instance, was Spearmint mixed with Eucalyptus. When the water is out, the unit tries to keep going. So I visited Bath and Body works to see what aromatherapy oils they offered, looking for fragrant yet not overpowering scents.
